1. We don't sell you a bunch of overpriced gear requiring you to juggle 8 remotes
and attend a 12-hour A/V seminar to operate.
2. We don't hook up and run. We are local and stand by every project. I'm not going anywhere, my kids play soccer here. My systems all work and my phone is strangely quiet . . .
3. We don't push new, barely tested technology. I laughed at HDMI for the first 2 years because I could do a 2 minute demo and show you the ridiculous pixelized grays posing as blacks. UPDATE: HDMI when paired with the right BluRay player gives you the best home experience you can get. But, those older funky silver cable boxes that rhyme with zotorola still have the worst HDMI implementation that was ever unleashed on the world. Do an A/B test with component on a paused image and have a look. 4. We don't push pre-fabricated cables and glorified power strips to pad our profits. Oxygen-free, direct burial speaker wire, yes. HDMI cables inwall rated and certified, yes important. I make my own cables that outperform and cost less than most of what's out there. Cables do make a difference with analog, but with 1's and 0's going from point a to b being packetized and having redundancy for timing on both sides, it's fairly ridiculous to use gold-plated, triple-shielded, plenum-rated, plutonium-filled cables to get digital audio from one place to another. You get my point, a little honesty over here please!
